LTP – Last Traded Price – is the price at which the most recently completed transaction occurred. CMP refers to the active bid and ask prices currently available for the next trade. In highly liquid stocks during active trading hours, they’re typically very close and update almost simultaneously. In less liquid situations, the gap between them can be meaningful enough to affect execution.
